IRCNではソングバードを使って臨界期における脳の神経メカニズムの形成を研究する、矢崎研究室(杉山(矢崎)陽子主任研究者)にて特任研究員(ポスドク)を募集します。

The Yazaki-Sugiyama lab focuses on how early stage sensory experience shapes neural circuits in the brain, as well as how this time window is regulated, and guides the later development of higher cognitive functions using the bird song learning model. We are now seeking productive and motivated Post-Doctoral researchers who are interested in the following ongoing projects:
● Tracking early auditory memory for song learning and the neuronal mechanisms underlying critical periods of auditory memory formation.
● Tracking the social effects and social intelligence in song learning.
● New ideas in this area.

Qualifications
(Required)
● Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent in a related field
● Good communication skill in English
(Preferred)
● Experience in neuroscience field, especially in electrophysiology will be preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: To be determined in accordance with the University of Tokyo Regulations
● Commuter allowance: JPY55,000 per month at maximum

Discretionary labor system, based on 7 hours, 45 minutes per day, or 38 hours 45 minutes per week
