Zenas Chao (IRCN Principal Investigator) lab studies how the brain generates predictions and creative thinking. This lab is seeking Project Academic Support Specialists who will help recruit research participants and support EEG experiments.

The first contract will be ended on March 31, 2021. The contract is renewable on a fiscal year basis (from April 1 to March 31; every year) according to research activity and achievements. Contract duration is 3 years.
Probationary period is 6 months from the date of arrival.

Qualifications
(Required)
● Good communication skill in both Japanese and English
● Basic computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
(Preferred)
● Experience in human subject research
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: To be determined in accordance with the University of Tokyo Regulations
● Commuter allowance: JPY55,000 per month at maximum
● Social Insurance: Eligible for MEXT* Mutual Aid Association membership,employees’ pension, employment insurance, and workers’ accident compensation insurance. (*MEXT: Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)

Working Hours
7 hours, 45 minutes per day, five days per week (negotiable)
