Zenas Chao (IRCN Principal Investigator) lab studies how the brain generates predictions and creativity. We are seeking Academic Support Staff whose main tasks are: (1) recruiting research participants, and (2) assisting researchers during EEG experiments.

The first contract will be ended on March 31, 2021. The contract is renewable on a fiscal year basis (from April 1 to March 31; every year) according to research activity and achievements. Contract duration is 3 years.

Qualifications
(Required)
● Native Japanese speaker
● Good communication skill in English
● Good interpersonal skills
● Basic computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
(Preferred)
● Experience in human subject research
● Experience in administrative support
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: To be determined in accordance with the University of Tokyo Regulations
● Commuter allowance: JPY55,000 per month at maximum
● Social Insurance: Eligible for Health insurance, Employees' pension insurance and Unemployment insurance in accordance with the law
Working Hours
3 to 5 days a week (negotiable including working hours per day)
Non-working days: Saturdays and Sundays; Statutory public holidays of Japan; Year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 through January 3)
