On August 1st ,2025, 31 students and 2 teachers from Kumamoto high school visited Yukie Nagai laboratory (Cognitive Developmental Robotics Lab), IRCN.

The visit began with an introduction to the laboratory by Dr. Seiya Nakata, who presented the research on cognitive development using AI systems. The students then had the opportunity to experience cutting-edge projects firsthand, including an ASD (autism spectrum disorder) visual experience simulator, a robot drawing experiment powered by neural networks, and a system that estimates emotions from facial expressions, voice, and brain activity.
