Research Theme
My group seeks to understand cognition and neural processing using tools from machine learning and statistics. Specifically, we focus on interpretable latent variable models for high dimensional neural and behavioral data. We collaborate closely with a variety of experimental groups spanning multiple animal models to create general purpose tools for the community and to uncover fundamental principles of cognitive function.
