The 112th award ceremony of The Japan Academy was held on June 27, 2022, in the presence of the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Dr. Haruo Kasai, IRCN Principal Investigator, received the Imperial Prize and the Japan Academy Prize.
After the ceremony, Dr. Kasai explained his research and its results to the Emperor and Empress and answered their questions.
