Zenas Chao (IRCN Principal Investigator) lab studies how the brain generates predictions and creativity. We are seeking Project Academic Support Specialist whose main tasks are: (1) recruiting research participants, and (2) assisting researchers during EEG experiments.

Job Description
(1) Arranging and recruiting research participants for experiment using electroencephalogram
(2) Assisting human EEG experiment
(3) Other academic support services in the laboratory
● Native Japanese speaker
● Good communication skill in English
● Good interpersonal skills
● Basic computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Experience in electrophysiological and behavioral experiments
● Experience in administrative support
Working Hours
Working days: 5 days per week (from Monday to Friday)
Working hours: 38 hours 45 minutes per week
※Overtime work may be ordered.
※Working Days and Hours may be subject to change due to circumstances.
Saturday and Sundays; Statutory public holidays of Japan; Year-end and New Year holidays(December 29 through January 3)
Paid leaves, Refreshment leave, etc

Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: To be determined in the range of ¥300,000~400,000 per month ※Dependent on eligibility, capablity, working experience. Annual salary system is applied.
● Commuter allowance: JPY55,000 per month at maximum
● Overtime allowance: Dependent on hours of each month
● No retirement benefits or bonuses
