ツァイ研究室では、主にヒトの脳の認知マップと因果モデル自体がどう学んでいくのかに興味を持ち、高度な計算論的モデルを用いて人間の行動や神経活動データを解析しています。また、人間の学習方法に触発された新しい機械学習アルゴリズムや、fMRIによる脳画像データをより正確に理解するための新しいアルゴリズムも開発しています。そのツァイ研究室(ツァイ ミンボ主任研究者)にて特任研究員(ポスドク)を募集します。

Mingbo Cai (IRCN Principal Investigator) Lab is interested in the following areas of research: (1) the computational mechanism underlying human learning and decision making, especially in learning latent causal structure from noisy observations; (2) development and application of Bayesian and deep learning algorithms for brain imaging (primarily fMRI) data, especially for multi-echo fMRI and (natural) tasks data; (3) application of cognitive model and fMRI to understand psychiatric diseases (through collaboration with other labs); (4) developing deep learning model for learning interpretable generative model of environment. Postdocs with one or more of the following expertise are preferred: computational (probabilistic) modeling of human behavior/ fMRI data, behavioral/eye tracking/fMRI study of decision making/learning/memory, deep learning. The first contract will be ended on March 31, 2021 (due to Japanese fiscal year). The contract is renewable on a fiscal year basis (from April 1 to March 31; every year) according to research budget, research activity, and research achievements. Maximal contract duration is until October 31, 2022.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: To be determined in accordance with The University of Tokyo Regulations
